About Get a Life

It's never too early to start planning for success in life. That's why the Comptroller's office built the Get a Life Web site. This site is made for Texas middle school students with input from real middle school students across Texas. It's about sharing good ideas and smart plans for the future.

On Get a Life, you can:

• Check out smart (and fun) ways you can spend some of your free time this summer to learn and grow.
• Explore cool careers and what it takes to get there.
• Get good advice on how to turn your interests into a great life later.
• See what you can do today to plan for life after high school, including ways to save and pay for college or training.
• Give us your thoughts! Tell us what you think about this site, or share your ideas for great ways to get a life.
